Career Ambassador
We are seeking students from diverse backgrounds to work as a team to provide positive outreach to campus peers, faculty, and staff regarding Boerigter Center events and opportunities.
Often the first point of contact for students, parents, and alumni who call or visit the Boerigter Center, Alumni and Family Engagement Office, or Center for Leadership. They should be prepared to handle a wide range of inquiries and requests as well as work through a variety of tasks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Answering phone calls, greeting visitors and providing information to our constituents, responding to emails from multiple email accounts, working actively in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.), small projects as needed by staff in the areas of calling, career, advising, and alumni relations and other duties as assigned by supervisor. Students in this role are the front line of our team. They serve as a great resource for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Knowledge of platforms like Handshake is desired by not required (you will be trained).
These are paid positions expected to work 4-8 hrs per week. You do not have to be a Work Study student to apply.
